Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary

Who you gonna call? The Essex Cinemas! This year marks the 30th anniversary of the original Ghostbusters, and it’ll be returning to theaters for a short time.

You can see the movie on August 28th at 7:00pm in their T-Rex Theater, with regular showings begin Friday, August 29th at 12:15, 2:40, 5:00, 7:20, and 9:40!

Keep an eye out on their Facebook page for giveaways in the meantime. Tickets are now on sale.

This is very cool to see. Long-time readers will remember that the Essex Cinemas did a whole series of events called Throwback Thursday, where they brought films in that hadn’t been in theaters for a long time. This, while not part of that series, is a nice reminder that they’re still looking to bring in audiences for some beloved films. Ghostbusters, in our opinion, is one of the best ones to bring back to the big screen. Hopefully, we’ll see more of this again.
