Lyndonville is home to a new horror movie, The Luring

A couple of years ago, Kaleidoscope Pictures went to Indigogo to fund their next project: a horror film called The Luring. The campaign raised just over $12,000, and according to WCAX, it’s now filming in Lyndonville.

According to the film’s website, The Luring is “about a man who returns to his family vacation home, where a murder took place during his 10th birthday party, hoping to finally resolve a memory gap that has been plaguing him for years.”

WCAX interviewed locals who have contributed to the film in small ways, or as extras, and Christopher Wells, who’s working on the film, noted that filming in Vermont is a “welcome thing.”

The film is expected to be completed this fall.
