‘Birds Are Dinosaurs’ Exhibit Opens At VINS

A new exhibit at the Vermont Institute of Natural Science in Quechee explores how birds evolved from dinosaurs.

The Vermont Institute of Natural Science has a new exhibit this month: Birds Are Dinosaurs!

Are dinosaurs still alive today? Dig into the amazing story of how birds evolved from dinosaurs in our new exhibit coming this May. Through skeletons, life-sized replicas, and hands-on activities you will discover the adaptations acquired through 250 million years to make birds what they are. Your perception of the chickadee in your backyard will be forever changed.

VPR recently featured the exhibit in a story. Listen here. You can also visit VINS website here.
