Ideas on Tap: What’s With Our Zombie Obsession?

This looks like a fun event: What’s On Tap at Arts Riot discusses the cultural significance of Zombies:

Come by ArtsRiot for Ideas on Tap and engaging conversation about our obsession with zombies with Steve Wehmeyer, assistant professor at Champlain College with a Ph.D. in Folklore and Mythology from UCLA and Patrick Standen, philosophy teacher at Saint Michael’s College. And enjoy a beverage and a bite at the ArtsRiot bar.

The Vermont Humanities Council presents Ideas on Tap in partnership with ArtsRiot. Ideas on Tap promotes informal, informative, and provocative discussions — like those that happen over a meal or drink in living rooms, on the back porch, or at the pub. Ideas on Tap discussions, however, will also offer expert scholars speaking briefly on the evening’s topic and posing thought-provoking questions for the ensuing conversations.

So stop by for a little zombie talk, May 12, 7pm. And next up on tap is “Love in the Time of Tinder” on May 26.
