Nosferatu at the Big Picture Theater

Tonight, the Big Picture Theater’s Film Club is presenting F.W. Murnau’s Nosferatu, a 1922 silent film with live accompaniment from piano player Will Ogmundson.

The film, a take on the story of Dracula, a German Expressionist horror film, and according to Wikipedia, is an unauthorized adaptation of the book:

Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter’s wife. Silent classic based on the story “Dracula.”

It looks like it could be a fun evening. A discussion will follow the film. Tickets are $8 per person.
